With the EU support trainings on Digital Marketing was organized for the winners of the second round of Rural Development grant competition in Khulo municipality

During 3-8 August 2020, training in practical marketing for the 2nd and 3rd RD grant competition beneficiaries has been conducted in Khulo municipality. In total, 35 (10 Woman and 25 Man) beneficiaries attended six-day trainings. Training aimed to help and teach grant holders to establish and use marketing tools for owns businesses. The training was conducted by PMC Research Center consultants Tio Zarnadze and Saba Javashvili.

The training process was full of practical marketing tools. Training participants within the interests created social pages, relevant to their f businesses. During the training  following topics were discussed: 1) Brand and Branding; 2) Customers and sales aim; 3) Advertisement in Facebook; 4) Traditional and Digital marketing channels; 5) Communication; 6) Formats of posting; 7) Managing web and social pages of one’s brand. Training participants will continue to manage already created social and business pages, as well use gained knowledge about digital marketing to increase their visibility and income.

‘’From the beginning, I was skeptical about training agenda, but training process was so interesting and charming, I did not notice how time passed. I will use gained knowledge to increase revenue of my business and help others to create their own digital marketing platforms’’ – admitted David Mikaberidze, training participant.

Training series for winners of 2nd and 3rd grant competition will continue. Grant beneficiaries will learn about management, accounting, and marketing tools to develop business management skills. Training series will be conducted by PMC RC consultants.      

The Project is implemented by the Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) in partnership PMC RC and Croatian Rural Development Network (HMRR) with the financial support of European Union, under the European Neighborhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia – ENPARD II.

The EU is supporting agriculture and rural development in Georgia through its ENPARD Programme. Implemented since 2013 with a total budget of EUR 179.5 million, the main goal of ENPARD is to reduce rural poverty in Georgia. The first phase of ENPARD in Georgia focused on developing the potential of agriculture.
