On 25th of  August, 2019, at 14:00 pm, in Khulo municipality, Khulo FEST festival will be organized. The first part of the festival will include fair of local products and services. At the same time, local folk groups will perform traditional dances and songs. At the second part of the festival, invited musical bands and DJ will perform.

Visitors will be able to buy and taste various products, produced by local farmers and small entrepreneurs. The festival will be led by active and positive host.

In parallel with the exhibition, dancing and musical performances will be offered by local ensembles ("Argineti", "Mermisi", "Bermukha","Tsitsinatela").

Within the festival, various activities such as corn eating competition, questionary on Khulo, balloon fast bubbling and etc will take place.

In the second part of the festival, invited musical bands (FOURTH SEASON and ASEA SOOL) will offer enjoyable music and DJ ZaZa will close the event.

The event is conducted in the frame of EU supported project, implemented by the Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) in partnership PMC RC and Croatian Rural Development Network (HMRR), under the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia – ENPARD II.

The EU is supporting agriculture and rural development in Georgia through its ENPARD Programme. Implemented since 2013 with a total budget of EUR 179.5 million, the main goal of ENPARD is to reduce rural poverty in Georgia. The first phase of ENPARD in Georgia focused on developing the potential of agriculture. The second and third phases of ENPARD focus on creating economic opportunities for rural population that go beyond agricultural activities. More information on ENPARD is available at: www.enpard.ge.
