On 22^nd  January 2018  Khulo LAG management board election was held. Before management board elections general assembly meeting was held. The meeting was aimed to introduce LAG management board election procedures and structure of the Khulo LAG.

Khulo LAG management board is composed by 15 members. 10 members were elected trough ballot voting principle. In Khulo LAG management board there is one representative of Khulo Municipality City Hall, one representative Khulo Sakrebulo and two members of AMAGI. In total 99 LAG members participated in the election, which is 88.3% of whole membership. During the election no major violations were observed. At the end of the day election voting commission announced elections results to LAG members. Out of 15 board members, 8 represents civil sector, 5 members are from public and 2 – from private sector. The 15^th member is CCRG representative, who will be involved in decision making process as well. 

There are 112 members in Khulo LAG, out of which 25 are women and 18 youth. Sectoral division is: 24.1% - private, 49.1% - civil, and 26.8% representing public sector.

The project “Promotion of Rural development and Diversification in Khulo Municipality” is implemented by Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) within the financial support of EU under the ENPARD programme. The project aims to improve employment and living condition in Khulo through diversification of rural economy. The goal of the project is to maximize engagement of private, civil and public sector participation in rural development process.
