On 17 January 2018, the general assembly meeting of Khulo LAG was held in Khulo municipality.

The objectives of the meetings were to introduce LAG management board election procedures and structure of the Kulo LAG, introducing candidates for present themselves and programs. 

77 LAG members participated in the meeting. The members received detailed information about election procedures. The candidates had an opportunity to introduce themselves and their program to the LAG members.

The LAG management board election will be held on 22th January at 10:00-18:00. Every LAG member is eligible to vote. There are 111 members in Khulo LAG, 24 women and 18 youth. Sectoral division: 24.4% - private, 48.6% - civil, and 27% representing public sector.

The project “Promotion of Rural development and Diversification in Khulo Municipality” is implemented by Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) within the financial support of EU under the ENPARD programme. The project aims to improve employment and living condition in Khulo through diversification of rural economy. The goal of the project is to maximize engagement of private, civil and public sector participation in rural development process.
