In the frames of the EU funded project “Promotion Rural Development and Diversification in Khulo Municipality”, Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) and KhuloLocal Action Group (LAG) announce first phase of the Rural Development Grant Programme in Khulo Municipality.
Main goal of the RD Grant Programme is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life and socio-economic condition in KhuloMunicipality, in accordance with the priorities and objectives of the Khulo Local Development Strategy (LDS) 2018-2022, elaborated by KhuloLAG. Six priority directions are defined by KhuloLDS:
1. Rural tourism
2. Agriculture
3. Communal and Social Infrastructure
4. Culture, health, education, sports, and youth
5. Off-farm entrepreneurship
6.Environment and sustainable management of natural resources
The Rural Development (RD) grant competition is targeting entire administrative territory of Khulo Municipality. Grants will be awarded only to projects which reflect the priorities of Khulo LDS. Grants are available for public, community and business projects.
Applicants wishing to participate in the competition, should submit filled Project Idea Form from 1st until August 31, 2018, 18:00 pm. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered

Consultations about the grant component will be organized in each community of Khulo municipality.
Technical consultations about the project idea forms will also be provided at ENPARD Khulo project office before the closure of the Grant Programme.
